Have fun with Lego™ and help raise awareness about Muzaffarpur Hospital!

In the vast, rural state of Bihar in northern India lies Muzaffarpur Hospital. As the only specialist leprosy hospital in the state, it’s a lifeline for thousands of people every year. Many people travel hundreds of kilometres to reach the hospital, and the dedicated team work tirelessly to give every leprosy patient the best possible care.

But Muzaffarpur is in desperate need of repairs. Patients have to queue outside for hours every day because there is no space in the waiting room. Doctors treat people from cramped and crumbling consultation rooms. The hospital just isn’t fit for purpose.

Together, we must rebuild Muzaffarpur. And that’s where you come in! Join our Lego™ competition, and raise awareness about this incredible hospital.

We’re inviting all young Lego™ architects to design and build their very own Lego™ hospital! It can be any shape or size – the more creative the better! To enter the competition, send us a picture of the finished creation. A panel of expert judges from Muzaffarpur Hospital will look at all the designs and choose their winner.

What’s the prize?

The first prize is a huge box of Lego™, weighing almost 15 kg, delivered to your door!

The second prize for the runner up is a £15 gift voucher for the toy shop ‘The Entertainer’.

How do I enter?

The competition is open to everyone, whatever your age! You can enter as an individual or as a group.

You can send your entries via post to ‘The Leprosy Mission, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough, PE2 5GZ’, or via email at hello@LM.org.uk

Remember to include the following in your entry:

• A photo of your Lego™ hospital.
• Your child's/group's name(s) and age(s)
• Your name, phone number and email address so we can contact you if you win.

The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 31 March 2024.

What are the competition rules?

• Entry is only open to participants based within the United Kingdom.
• You can enter as many times as you like.
• The competition deadline is 31 March 2024.
• Competition winners will be contacted by 10 April 2024.
• Entry to the competition is free, but you can make a donation to help renovate Muzaffarpur Hospital below.
• By entering the competition, you permit The Leprosy Mission to use the entry for publicity purposes on social media. We won’t share your surname.
